Via Gawker, video of a family cat scaring off a dog that was aggressively attacking a small boy in Bakersfield, California:
The boy’s mother told a local ABC station that he is “doing fine” despite the bite wounds you can see in the footage. (The video appears to have been cut together from security camera footage and posted on YouTube by the child’s father, a tech specialist). The cat’s name is Tara.
