Four Found Dead After “Intentional” Fire in Home Owned (but Not Occupied) by Tennis Star James Blake

CNN

Two adults and two teenagers were found dead yesterday after an early-morning fire that was “started intentionally” in a Tampa home owned, but not occupied, by former tennis star James Blake. From CNN:

“We have also confirmed that the fire was started intentionally by an unknown accelerant,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Col. Donna Lusczynski told reporters…

The four apparent family members – two adults and two teenagers – were found in their respective bedrooms after the early morning fire, Lusczynski said.

Identifying the bodies will take several days, she said.

The 34-year-old Blake, who retired from pro competition last year, was apparently leasing out the home and was not present at the time of the fire.
