Actor Ben Affleck can no longer play blackjack at the Hard Rock casino in Las Vegas. A source tells CNN that a previous report by TMZ that claimed Affleck was booted from the casino was inaccurate. The actor was asked to step away from the blackjack table after a security guard told him "You are too good at the game," according to the CNN source. Affleck was reportedly told he could still play other games at the casino. “Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time,” a spokeswoman said in an e-mailed statement reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The CNN source was mum about whether casino security accused Affleck of counting cards. According to RadarOnline, a local security firm has issued “an all-points bulletin” to the biggest casinos in Vegas warning about Affleck’s card-counting ways. Counting cards is not illegal but gambling establishments don't like it and the practice can result in getting banned from casinos.
