Hillary Clinton is still a presumptive presidential candidate. And if you were thinking she would run in 2016, on Tuesday, the former Secretary of State said, well, it’s crossed her mind too. "I am thinking about it," Clinton said at a conference on Tuesday.
"The hard questions aren't do you want to be president, or can you win," Clinton told the audience at the Marketo Marketing Nation Summit 2014 in San Francisco. "The hard question is why. Why would you want to do this and what would you offer that could make a difference."
It’s a small conceit to what seems to be a telegraphed run for the White House. But, as is commonplace with soon-to-be candidates, the former First Lady has publicly held the “wait-and-see” line about officially taking the plunge into another presidential campaign. “For now, though, Clinton said she does not plan ‘to make a decision for a while,’ saying she is ‘actually enjoying my life...seeing my friends and going on long walks and playing with my dog,” CNET reports.
