Sad news today: Designer L'Wren Scott was found dead in her Manhattan apartment. Reports are saying that she texted her assistant at 8:30 a.m., asking her to come over, and when her assistant arrived at 10 a.m., she found Scott hanging by a scarf from a doorknob. Police are not suspecting foul play, though an official report has yet to be released. She was 47 years old.

The longtime girlfriend of Mick Jagger, the former model and stylist launched her own clothing brand in 2006. Jagger is currently in Australia on tour and said he is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news.
