Jimmy Kimmel strikes again. A video of a wolf roaming the halls of a Sochi hotel was revealed to be a hoax orchestrated by Olympic luger Kate Hansen and Jimmy Kimmel. Hansen posted the video earlier today from her Twitter account:
And the Internet did a collective double take. With widespread complaints about unfinished hotels, uncovered manholes, stray dogs, and bathroom-cams, the video seemed almost plausible. But what’s that they say about crying wolf too often? Last September, Kimmel, played us all with a staged video of a girl twerking upside down against a door, falling through a glass table holding candles, and catching fire. Bloggers around the web got burned and maybe some learned a lesson. Perhaps that’s why, with a few exceptions, most media outlets passed on the story.
