Update, Wednesday, Feb. 12, 6:15 p.m.: The game has been postponed after all. According to ESPN, the decision came about three-and-a-half hours before tipoff:
UNC athletic director Bubba Cunningham said in a statement that Duke's bus wasn't able to make it to the Durham campus to pick up the Blue Devils for the 11-mile drive to Chapel Hill. He called the postponement "the best decision to make at this time" due to safety concerns.
Not to quibble with Bubba, but if the bus couldn't make it to the game, it sounds to me like cancellation was not only the best decision, but the only possible decision. Or were he and ACC officials still debating whether to ask the Blue Devils to strap on snowshoes and hoof it to the Dean Dome?
