Mitt Romney (Tried to) Do the “Gangnam Style” Dance in Public This Past Weekend

Yep, that’s Mitt Romney doing his best “Gangnam Style.” (And yes, that’s a sentence I never imagined myself writing before this morning.) The video’s from a conference for young single Mormons that took place this past weekend in Arizona, where Romney and his wife were featured speakers during the final day of the three-day event. According to the Deseret News, Romney was brought on stage later in the night by Mormon artist Alex Boye, who proceeded to try to teach the 66-year-old Romney some new moves.*

As anyone who’s ever seen me at a wedding reception knows, I have no right to critique anyone’s dance moves. But I’m giving the former White House hopeful bonus points for having a go at it—and then getting the heck off the stage as soon as he had the chance.
