George Zimmerman Was Just Arrested Again

Let's tread carefully given all the conflicting information that we saw last time this happened, but:

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office has also confirmed the news to the Orlando Sentinel, among others, saying the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin was taken into custody this time at around 1 p.m. after deputies responded to a disturbance call at an unidentified house. Other than that, however, we don't know much more at this time, including what charges Zimmerman might face.

The police say they'll release more information, including the 911 call, as soon as they're available, according to ABC News. For now we have today's booking photo courtesy of the John E. Polk Correction Facility.

The arrest isn't Zimmerman's first brush with the law since he was acquitted this summer on all counts in Martin's shooting death. In September, he and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute only days after she filed divorce papers. Zimmerman was briefly taken into police custody at the scene, but was never actually arrested (despite initial reports suggesting that he had been). It's still unclear exactly how that domestic incident played out—including whether Zimmerman was armed at the time—and police never pressed charges against either due to an apparent lack of evidence.
