Weigel will have plenty more from the healthcare.gov hearings over on the hill today, but the early news from the congressional hearing: We have an apology. Politico flags the quote in question from CMS Administrator Marilyn Tavenner, whose agency runs the troubled Obamacare enrollment website:
“I want to apologize to you that the website is not working as well as it should,” she told the House Ways and Means Committee at a hearing Tuesday morning, the first congressional hearing to feature an Obama administration official speaking on the federal exchange website since its troubled launch. “I want to assure you that healthcare.gov can be fixed, and we are working around the clock to give you the experience that you deserve.”
