The AP's 702-Word Report on Whether Halloween Blackface Is OK Is 701 Words Too Long

I would have hoped that, "No," would have sufficed in place of the 19 paragraphs the Associated Press published this afternoon on whether it's ever OK to wear blackface as part of your Halloween costume (or perhaps "No, never" for the sake of clarity).

That said, I'm not really picking on the AP here for running what amounts to a lengthy Halloween PSA. It's become painfully clear that the lesson is one that bears repeating. So with that in mind, for those of you who like their holiday instruction pared down, I give you the glorious: www.shouldidressinblackfacethishalloween.com. And for those who prefer their lessons-everyone-should-know-by-now in the form of a simple one-step flow chart, RYOT has you covered here.
