FBI Releases Chilling Video of Navy Yard Shooter on Day of Attack

The FBI on Wednesday released security footage of Aaron Alexis on the day of the Navy Yard shooting. The edited footage, thankfully, doesn’t show any shots fired, but it is nonetheless chilling to watch Alexis enter the building and stalk the halls armed with a shotgun.

The agency also released a series of still images related to the investigation, including a handful of photos of Alexis’ gun that show the messages that he is believed to have etched into his firearm before his shooting spree.

My colleague Justin Peters has more on the larger FBI report, including the revelation that Alexis may have thought hee was under the control of electromagnetic waves.
