Palestinian programmer Khalil Shreateh sent a shiver through the spines of Facebook users, when he was able to hack Mark Zuckerberg’s account. Frustrated by being rebuffed after repeatedly trying to warn Facebook about a security glitch, Shreateh took matters into his own hands and posted a note on Zuckerberg’s timeline. Starting with an apology.

Dear Mark Zuckerberg,
First sorry for breaking your privacy and post to your wall, I has no other choice to make after all the reports I sent to Facebook team.
My name is KHALIL, from Palestine.
Shreateh went on to explain that he had found a flaw that allowed people, who were not friends on Facebook, to post on other users’ timelines. In less than a minute, Shreateh’s account was suspended. Facebook engineer, Mark Jones, addressed the issue in the online forum, Hacker News, and Shreateh chronicled his attempts to tell Facebook of the problem on his blog.
This isn’t the first time Zuckerberg’s Facebook account has been hacked. In 2011, more than a dozen of the Facebook founder’s personal photos were swiped from his page.
