Lucy Watson, a reporter with Britain's ITV News, probably imagined that her walk-and-talk interview with Anthony Weiner would go a good bit differently than it did. Instead, the disgraced-congressman-turned-disgraced-mayoral-candidate told her that "it's hard to take you seriously" because of her accent. Things only turned more bizarre from there, with the New York Democrat going on to compare the interview to a Monty Python sketch, and, eventually, giving a fake weather report to viewers back in England that could have doubled as advice for the final days of his own struggling campaign: "It's going to be rainy, cloudy and gray. So do what you can, guys. Try to keep your head up. ... Keep a stiff upper lip."
