After personally picking up the check during last night’s dinner with a group of GOP leaders, President Obama has set his sights on the next target of his budget charm offensive: Paul Ryan. The Associated Press with the details:

The White House announced Thursday Obama was having lunch in his private dining room with the Budget Committee chairman, Republican Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and Ranking Democrat Chris Van Hollen of Maryland. Ryan was the GOP’s vice presidential nominee last year.

Obama, as you and Rep. Ryan no doubt remember, was a harsh critic of Ryan’s budget proposal during last year’s presidential campaign, particularly the Wisconsin Republican’s planned cuts to Medicare.
