President Obama’s opinion of Clint Eastwood appears not to have been affected by the actor/director’s bizarre speech at the Republican National Convention where he “interviewed” an empty chair where an invisible Obama was sitting. “I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan,” Obama tells USA Today.

“He is a great actor, and an even better director,” the president said. “I think the last few movies that he’s made have been terrific.” It seems Obama wasn’t as eager to review Eastwood’s speech as he was his movies, but he made it clear he wasn’t offended, noting that “if you’re easily offended, you should probably choose another profession.”
