Save Yourself a Trip to the Store With This Free Downloadable Designer Wrapping Paper

If you ran out of wrapping paper and can’t face another trip to the mall, fear not. This Christmas, busy designer elves have gifted the people of the World Wide Web with beautiful wrapping paper that you can print yourself from the comfort of your own home.

Indianapolis-based illustrator Penelope Dullaghan designed an exclusive set of holiday printables for the folks at Design Sponge that includes free downloadable wrapping paper in two pretty holiday designs.

“I set about to create a series of holiday patterns inspired by a twist on the traditional holiday palette: navy blue, red, and lime green,” Dullaghan told me in an email, adding that she created the patterns using linocut, watercolor, and ink techniques.

Check out Design Sponge to download the wrapping paper and the rest of the series, which includes a festive garland, gift tags, tech wallpaper for your smartphone, and a gift-card envelope.
