ABC’s Jake Tapper Explains What You May and May Not Make Fun of on Twitter

Jake Tapper of ABC News got upset this afternoon because people were goofing around on Twitter about Roger Ailes’ declaration that people at NPR were “Nazis.” These meta-Holocaust jokes resembled Holocaust jokes, and it is never, ever acceptable to make any sort of joke about the Holocaust. ” The Holocaust is not comedy fodder ,” Tapper posted on Twitter, before storming off the offending service (for 24 minutes ).

Here, according to Jake Tapper’s Twitter account, are some things that it is OK to make fun of:

  9/11

Funny-sounding words and names in Asian languages

A deadly infectious disease that ravages people in Africa

Torture.

And here are some things that Jake Tapper will not tolerate anyone making fun of:

The Holocaust

Genocide in general

Barbara Walters.
