One Time, a USC Football Star Didn't Take Money

There's college-football-corruption gossip aplenty in Sports Illustrated's " Confessions of an Agent ," a first-person piece by former agent Josh Luchs via writer George Dohrmann. Ryan Leaf was sketchy and unreliable! Jonathan Ogden took a free ticket to a Janet Jackson concert and "screamed 'Janet!' the whole night like a teenage girl"!

The remarkable news though, is this:

I tried to pay UCLA's J.J. Stokes and USC's Keyshawn Johnson, and they said, "No."

Yes: on one occasion, someone offered money to a Southern Cal player , and the player did not take it.
