Islamic Community Center Project, "Ground Zero Mosque" Meme Both Going Strong

The New York City Landmarks Commission cleared the way this morning for construction of an Islamic community center in Lower Manhattan, voting unanimously not to grant landmark protection to an existing building on the site, two blocks from where the World Trade Center used to be.

Or, if you are trying to whip up some cheap populist anger at the expense of a whole religious group: treacherous Muslims moved one step forward in their scheme to build a Mosque at Ground Zero, as a deliberate insult to the victims of 9/11 and a symbol of their greatest terrorist victory.
