Jaguar dealers in China have sold 1,500 cars so far this year , or one car per dealership every 4.5 days. China Daily reports that “Jaguar currently has 37 dealer outlets in the country, now its third-largest market worldwide after the US and UK.”

Jaguar China’s general manager said that China’s development was making the country an ever-better market for the British luxury automobiles:

“More and more of our Chinese friends, with their discerning and knowledgeable taste, will opt for a premium product.”

The most popular model, according to China Daily, is the bottom-of-the-line XF , which sells in China for a “lower relative price” of 600,000 RMB, or a bit under $90,000.
