Procrastinate Better

Google Meets World

Last week, Spanish artist Alejo Malia uploaded a set of illustrations he calls Google’s World , which, according to Malia, are meant to represent the elements found on Google Maps. The illos are well-rendered, showing what a Google-generated marker would look like plopped in the midst of a real-earth setting. The most jarring is the tree signifier plopped down in the middle of Central Park , which dwarfs the real trees and the cityscape surrounding it.
