Everyone’s talking about “Dumb Starbucks,” a new (and almost certainly illegal) parody cafe operating in Los Angeles. But no discussion of this should go without mentioning the original and greatest Starbucks parody business, Star and Bucks Cafe in the West Bank.
They have branches in Ramallah and Bethlehem, and have been operating for years since apparently Starbucks has no intention of getting into the Palestinian coffee market.
