Microsoft, as expected, has named Satya Nadella as its new CEO. He’ll take over a company that is simultaneously extraordinarily successful and somewhat troubled.

This excellent graphic from Financial Times illustrates that tension by breaking down how Microsoft makes money:

Windows is in decline, Xbox is tiny, but Office is doing better than ever as a business, and the servers division that Nadella runs is growing. Can he grow servers faster than Windows declines? Can he turn the tiny Xbox into a meaningful hardware business? What will he do with Bing?
