Note that House Republicans’ notion of piecemeal reopenings of especially photogenic elements of the government whenever a bad story hits the airwaves won’t really address this. To restore confidence and let people go back to their regular lives, you need to fund the government and raise the debt ceiling and then move on to arguing about other stuff.
