Jeff Young tweeted these Census Bureau maps showing where America’s low-income uninsured live, using the cutoffs for Medicaid expansion eligibility and for Obamacare exchange subsidy eligibility.
Of course as ever with these maps you need to remember that land area is not people. The top map illustrates Montana as a vast sea of red, but actually there are very few low-income uninsured people in Montana because there are very few people in Montana.
