Jess Zimmerman brings it up just to hate on fast food, but talk of McDonald's failed effort to develop and sell an onion nuggets products should simply remind us that chain restaurants are an innovative sector in which progress is happening all the time.
Just like in any manufacturing enterprise, the meal manufacturing sector has R&D departments and not everything pans out. Some of it doesn't work out. But I hear good things about these Mighty Wings that McDonald's is trying out in Atlanta.
