America Has No Commerce Secretary

Equity markets are way down today and it’s no surprise. After all Commerce Secretary John Bryson announced his official resignation and everyone knows that what’s bad for the Department of Commerce is bad for commerce.

Deputy Secretary Rebecca Blank will continue on as Acting Secretary of Commerce, her second stint as the Acting Secretary. For more on Blank, see this.
