Spanish Bond Yields Rising Again

As is typical of European Union decisionmaking, the weekend bailout deal for Spanish banks had the character of a fudge that didn’t do much more than kick the can down the road. But if you look at Spanish bond yields, it seems we didn’t get weeks or months of extra time to think things through as a result of this, we got mere hours.
