Libertarian billionaire Peter Thiel has managed to attract a lot of attention with his argument that higher education is a worthless bubble, a view he adheres to so strongly that he's spending money paying people to not go to college and just start their own businesses instead. But if you want an exciting job at Thiel Capital with responsibilities that including a charge to "Investigate economic hypotheses that lead to conclusions that are fundamentally correct but missed by most of the world," he's going to want you to have a "High GPA from a top-tier university."
