Unlike most infographics, this one from the World Science Festival is pretty cool. It shows all 25 active space missions, from the three NASA satellites puttering around the Moon, to Voyager 1—launched by NASA in 1977 and currently 11 billion miles from Earth. Nineteen of the 25 active missions were launched by NASA, while the rest were launched by the European Space Agency, China, and India. (Take that, Sputnik!)
