How to Steal From a Vending Machine Using a Robot Arm

There are some pretty ingenious people in this world. This French guy is one of them. Using a robot arm and a homemade PlayStation-style controller, the dude manages to swipe soda out of a vending machine like John Connor and Budnick at an ATM.

If you’re in a hurry and/or don't speak French, skip to 1:20 for the heist. You may also want to check out around the 5-minute mark for some nice HD of the robot’s makeup and moving parts that show it’s far from a glorified erector set.

On YouTube, the guy goes by ioduremetallique, and he’s got a whole channel of DIY electronics that will make you feel bad about your life competencies.
