What Will Life Be Like in 100 Years?

Last week, Future Tense visited Arizona State for Emerge, a conference on imagining the future. As part of the event, several Emerge participants took to the streets of Tempe, Ariz., to ask people what they think life will be like in 100 years.

Kids hope for flying cars and brain-enhancing technology that would make school unnecessary—not so different from what a child in the 1950s might have said. Technology may change, but some things stay the same.
