THEY (still) ALIVE, DAMNIT!

The irreverent and gloriously hilarious Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been renewed for a fourth season, according to Variety. The announcement of Kimmy Schmidt’s eventual return is yet another quick renewal for Netflix, which released the show’s well-reviewed third season just three weeks ago.

Despite Kimmy Schmidt’s quick renewal, Netflix has also canceled more shows this year than it has in the past. Recently, Netflix announced that Sense8 and The Get Down, following a couple of other high-budget series, would not be renewed for another season.

The return of Kimmy, Titus, and Lillian for another season is more good news for executive producers Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, whose freshman NBC comedy Great News was recently renewed for a second season. The pair just missed out on having three shows on television, however, as it was recently announced that their pilot The Sackett Sisters would not be picked up by NBC.

To celebrate, revisit a video of all of the perfect nicknames Titus came up with for Kimmy in the show’s first two seasons.
