Louis C.K. is voting for Hillary Clinton—and not just because she’s the lesser of two evils. On Conan Tuesday night, C.K. explained why he thinks having a mother in the White House will be a good thing. “We’ve had 240 years of fathers. Father after father: bald father, fat father, every kind of father.” That’s not to say C.K. has anything against dads—he is one!—but he argues that a mother just gets things done.
While C.K. said he has no problem with voters who are pro-Trump (though his past comments seem to indicate otherwise), he did have some harsh criticism for people who don’t want to vote for Clinton because she isn’t likable or cool: “We need a two-faced, conniving, crazy—somebody who’s just got a million schemes.” He also gave us the platitude this election deserves: “If you vote for Hillary, you’re a grown-up. If you vote for Trump, you’re a sucker. If you don’t vote for anybody, you’re an asshole.”
