Prince was honored at his official tribute concert on Thursday night. The music icon’s estate had put together an impressive lineup of artists to perform at the St. Paul event, and it’s safe to say that they delivered: From Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan performing a “1999” duet to the moving speech from Tyka Nelson, Prince’s sister, the event brought Prince’s musical and emotional spirit back to life. President Obama himself made a recorded appearance to kick things off, saying that Prince “will be in our hearts forever.”

Of course, this wasn’t the first Prince tribute to take place—other big names such as Beyoncé, Janelle Monáe, and Questlove have all already covered some of his greatest hits. But the scene at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul was still incredibly moving.
