Seth Meyers Moderates the Presidential Debate, Gets Much More Honest Answers

The second presidential debate of this crazy, crazy election has come and gone, but the soundbites will live on for years to come. Fortunately, Late Night with Seth Meyers is putting them to good use—Meyers moderated his own version of the debate on Tuesday by asking hard-hitting questions and letting Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton answer them, using actual clips from the debate. Between quizzing Trump on whether he thinks he’ll actually be elected president (“not in this country”) and asking who gets to hear a Clinton speech (“nobody who makes less than $250K a year”), he gets in more than a few zingers.

But the question that drives the audience truly wild is Meyers asking Donald Trump to tell him the hilarious joke he’d been promised backstage. Cue Trump: “Nobody has more respect for women than I do.” Good one, Donald!
