Unless you’ve somehow managed to avoid all newspapers, television, and the internet over the past few days—in which case, welcome back—you already know that on Friday, the Washington Post released an extremely crude recording that shows Donald Trump bragging about grabbing women “by the pussy” to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in 2005. Full Frontal’s Sam Bee, a longtime critic of Trump’s misogyny, addressed this newest example of the candidate’s sexism in a furious takedown on Monday night, pointing out that once again, the Republican nominee has demonstrated he is every woman’s worst nightmare: “We know this is shocking for most ‘normal men,’ but every woman I know has had some entitled testosterone-monster grab her like a human bowling ball.”
But Bee saved her real ire for the many prominent Republicans who spent the weekend discovering, apparently for the first time, that “their Muslim-hating, Mexican-insulting, race-baiting, disability-mocking, alt-right channeling demagogue” isn’t such a great guy after all. And in one perfect graphic, she summed up the problem with those same politicians using their “wives and daughters” as the reason for their outrage.
