When Hamilton announced in August that their weekly, live pre-show would be coming to an end, the production also teased that “we may throw in a digital #Ham4Ham show from time to time.” Reader, they delivered, and it is glorious: The show’s “Schuyler sisters,” Renée Elise Goldsberry, Lexi Lawson, and Jasmine Cephas-Jones, perform a spirited rendition, complete with choreography, of “Out Tonight” from Rent on the Hamilton stage.
If anything, this is proof that #Ham4Ham can in fact live on, if only occasionally, even without Lin-Manuel Miranda. The creator himself doesn’t seem to mind, though.
