Watch 1,000 Musicians Cover David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” All at the Same Time

In Cesena, Italy, more than 1,000 musicians took over the Dino Manuzzi Stadium, where they gathered to perform David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.” Members of Italy’s Rockin’1000, which claims to be the “biggest rock band on earth,” rocked out in sync to Bowie’s 1974 classic and seemed to have an awesome time doing so.

Hundreds of drummers, guitarists, and vocalists really shone during the Bowie performance, but Rockin’1000 also includes violinists and keyboardists on its roster—even a few bagpipers. The band rose to fame in 2015 with a cover of Foo Fighters’ “Learn to Fly,” which they hoped would persuade the band to visit Cesena. It worked.
