You’ll Really, Really, Really Like Carly Rae Jepsen’s Ad for Japanese Shampoo Brand Moist Diane

Carly Rae Jepsen: queen of Japanese shampoo commercials. As if “I Really Like You” weren’t already the cutest darn pop song ever made, it and Jepsen herself were recently featured in a Japanese ad for Moist Diane, in which the singer encourages a lovelorn bus passenger to confess a crush on a friend in a no-holds-barred, run-to-the-airport romantic gesture. (And yes, the name of the brand really, really, really is Moist Diane.)

Pop stars wind up in foreign commercials all the time, but Jepsen has an especially strong following in Japan, making her an ideal representative for the brand. Of course, she and the flash mob she picks up break just about every airport protocol in the process—those bottles look way more than 3 ounces—but nothing will get between love and Carly Rae.
