Block Out Some Time for Twitter Reactions to the Tetris Movie Before Your Schedule Fills Up

News broke Tuesday that the long-in-development Tetris movie now has financing, an $80 million budget, and a 2017 start date. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, it’s the first installment of a proposed sci-fi trilogy. Tetris: The Movie will be a co-production from China’s Bruno Wu and the U.S.’s Larry Kasanoff. It’s not Kasanoff’s first try at turning a well-known brand into movie magic; he was behind the product-placement-gone-mad catastrophe Foodfight! Not surprisingly, the wags and wits of the internet greeted the news with a wave of puns, which fell into our Twitter timelines faster and faster until we could barely keep up with them.
