In typical CineFix style, the “Top 10 Casting Decisions of All Time” sorts examples throughout various categories, including “plucked from obscurity,” “casting against type,” and “pairings with perfect chemistry.” Whether or not you agree with all of their picks, the countdown’s real value is in reminding us of the many great performances throughout film history, from the unforgettable (like Marlon Brando in The Godfather) to the underrated (a cast of amateurs in Vittorio De Sica’s neorealist masterpiece, Bicycle Thieves).
