Nathan Drake Continues His War on Gravity in the Final Trailer for Uncharted 4

A cave (exploding), a bell tower, a boat (storm), a ruined building (wood), a ruined building (stone), a boat (exploding), and some kind of barrel-of-monkeys human chain over an abyss involving a jeep: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End protagonist Nathan Drake nearly suffers seven life-threatening falls in 10 seconds in the game’s final trailer. Is it a curse? An inner-ear problem? Very poor archaeological training? Whatever’s going on, it seems clear the fourth—and supposedly last—game in the Uncharted series will feature just as many action set pieces as the three games that preceded it, in which Drake survived an impossible train crash, dangled out the back of a cargo plane like James Bond, and battled a helicopter while a hotel fell down on top of him. And obviously he fell down a lot. But seven falls in 10 seconds—that’s worth a trip to urgent care, at least.

This time around Drake is supposedly looking for Libertalia, a legendary pirate utopia said to have been near Madagascar. Will he find enough pirate treasure to finally shell out $935 for an Executive Chute? Audiences will have to wait until May 10 to find out, when the game is released for PS4.
