As promised in a teaser Wednesday, Rihanna’s music video for “Kiss It Better” dropped Thursday, and it’s pretty steamy. As we saw in the teaser, the video starts with dice rolling way down Rihanna’s stomach, which is covered by thin white fabric. For the rest of the video, Rihanna does what Rihanna does: Strike sexy poses, crawl on the floor in a sexy fashion, and generally exist on a plane of sexiness far out of reach for us mere mortals.
Aesthetically, the video is a departure from both of the back-to-back videos Rihanna previously released for “Work.” Its glossy black-and-white production, as well as the choice to star solely Rihanna, without extras or, of course, Drake as a guest star, give it a very different vibe. What does “Kiss It Better” mean? Your guess.
