Fuller House finally hits Netflix on Friday, but the full version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s cover of the original theme song has already hit the Internet. Jepsen’s “Everywhere You Look” updates the song with a flirtier attitude. Plenty of reviews have knocked the show straight out the gate, but Jepsen’s theme song, at least, appears to be a hit.
The end result is both very true to the original and very Jepsenesque—it bubbles with sunny spirit. Forget what those reviews say; I’ll be tuning in Friday, if for nothing else, to hear Jepsen’s very catchy “la la la”s.
