Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey made a return trip to Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, and she wasted no time getting into character. As with her prior stop on Kimmel’s couch, Headey was invited to lob insults as the famously sharp-tongued Cersei Lannister. This time, however, worlds collided, as the lines were lifted straight from the current season of The Bachelor.
Though Headey admitted she’d never seen The Bachelor, you’d never guess it from the delight she took in demolishing her would-be romantic rivals, sipping wine from a goblet between boozy bon mots: “I don’t think there’s one girl here who’s competition; I think I’m way prettier than everyone else;” “I think her boobs are fake, but it’s okay.” All in all, Headey showed that if you travel far enough across the TV landscape, you just might come full circle. More importantly, she proved that a Westerosi woman can backstab with the best of them, whether the setting is fake, real, or fake real.
