Stephen Colbert Is Very Unhappy About Sesame Street’s Move to HBO

On Thursday’s Late Show, Colbert provided very hot “hot takes” on a few of the world’s most puzzling topics, including Sesame Street’s recent move to HBO. “I’ve always been a fan of Sesame Street,” he said. “It taught me so much: the alphabet, counting, how to make friends with angry men in dumpsters.”

Turns out, Colbert can be counted among the many people who aren’t completely thrilled to see Sesame Street move to a paid network—although he does admit the move is apt, considering Grover’s been naked the whole time. Still, he joked, “After 45 years, I’m going to stop watching.”
