It’s easy to forget, amid all his accomplishments and talents, that David Bowie also had a great sense of humor—and, apparently, a serious gift for impressions. In this recently unearthed recording from 1985, originally in possession of record producer Mark Saunders, the chameleonic pop star works his way through the pantheon of rock’s biggest legends, from his friends Bruce Springsteen and Lou Reed to Neil Young. Saunders shared it with his friend, who coincidentally is the father of punk band The So So Glos’ drummer and vocalist Zach Staggers, who shared the recording with the Talkhouse.
