Questlove Narrates the Time He Threw Prince a Party—and Got Booted From the DJ Booth    

Remember that time Questlove was asked to throw Prince a party in exchange for a free concert ticket, but then got booted from the DJ booth in favor of a Finding Nemo DVD? Because Questlove does. He recalled the bizarre episode on Twitter last year—his memory apparently jogged by the release of a Finding Dory trailer—and now he’s narrated the entire experience in a delightfully perplexing animated short video. There are a lot of twists and turns on this musical odyssey (as is usually the case when Questlove and Prince cross paths), but there’s one central lesson: Don’t play Fela Kuti for the High Priest of Pop—at least, not if you’re Questlove.
